The article did characterize Hillary Clinton as being misguided but fundamentally decent and concerned about people. I wonder if the author would still characterize her in that fashion knowing what we do today about her. Although she was pretty corrupt back then...perhaps fewer people knew about her corruption then.

First: Many women are fully qualified and would win a job or promotion based fully on merits alone. FReeper women are that way. However——We males are supposed to pretend the affirmative action (less qualified) woman is just fine (and when Michigan elected Jennifer Granholm we had to say, uh, ahem, uh, er, she’s just great and fully qualified to be a great governor!
She was the worst in history and we barely survived.
Do young men today kiss up and say women who are inferior are just fine and just perfectly qualified, or do they actually BELIEVE this now? My Boomer age men had to fake it and grit our teeth and lose jobs to step out of the way for unqualified women. We knew it was wrong but couldn’t help it. We would face destruction if we said the truth out loud. Boys couldn’t excel or it would make girls look inferior. Boys couldn’t be confident and win at something or they would be called sexist. Police forces, firefighters,airline pilots and many more are now based on quotas of phony female acceptability when dozens of men were set aside so they could win the jobs. A shame.
