I would trust Amazon to get it right before I would trust any government agency, other than DCA.
And DCA does it with air gaps and superior encryption. And very, very strident physical access control.
I am currently employed in the IT industry and have a long history with DOD communications. I’ve seen both sides.
Amazon likely has a vastly better IT setup than anything in DOD.
Maybe DOD can get Amazon to redo DTS for us....?

Mariner, I have seen you posting for years. From what you just said, you understand. Exactly. Though not in “IT”, I am in programming at NASA.
It is my opinion that most US government communications, including email, texts, instant messaging, video conferencing, have it’s own physical network, completely separated from the current internet.
Yes, I know that would be insanely expensive. However, if a nation/government cannot secure it’s communications and data, it will be taken down. There IS a war going on, and for the most part we are using 50 year old strategies to fight this war.
