People allowed it to be driven into the ground. We’re all so busy working and raising families, that we didn’t notice a lot of things happening. I think a lot more people are awake now though.
You’re right of course, we got the government we deserve. I look back over the years and realize that I bought into so many lies. I know it was because I thought our Republican party was/is different.
I spent most of my life knowing only a democrat House and Senate and I did think when Republicans finally won things would change. ^ that’s just an example of how stupid I am as NOTHING changed. The same problems, the same overspending, the same endless wars and the same empty promises every election to fix the very problems our government has created. I am tired.
