A judge ruled that a bar was well within its right to kick out Trump supporters. And this is great news.
Not because I have any particular animosity towards Trump supporters (any more than other enablers of government oppression). Im not saying Trump supporters should be kicked out of bars. If I owned a bar I certainly wouldnt kick out Trump supporters. After all, its not like the Bernie supporters have enough money to keep a business afloat.
But this is a win for freedom of association. All interactions should be consensual. Obviously, we understand this concept when it comes to relationships and sex. But for some reason, fewer people hold consent as so important when it comes to business transactions.
You dont have to go to a bar, and a bar doesnt have to serve you.
But this does seem like quite the contradiction compared to courts forcing bakers to bake cakes for gay couples.
The distinction, in this case, is that the bar did not deny someone based on religious beliefs. Political discrimination is allowed. So you cannot deny a customer based on your own religious beliefs, but you can deny a customer based on theirand yourpolitical beliefs. Unless of course, that customer holds a protected political belief, in which case you still cannot deny them.
Some people think that when a business opens their doors, they are waiving their right to deny service to any peaceful customer willing to pay the price for a product on offer.
But imagine extreme examples where the store owner should absolutely be able to deny a customer.
A Jewish-owned bagel shop advertises that they will make your bagels into any shape you want. Can they deny a Neo-Nazi who wants a dozen swastika bagels?

The very ones.
Worth a shot.
Well, I think the right of a business to deny their service to any one should be protected. I think this because I believe in individual freedom and freedom of association.
Will you please explain why you "feel" that businesses should be forced to do business with people or entities they consider undesirable or reprehensible?
The list seems to grow every year. Maybe we can get MAGA listed...
That little gem is usually not reported...I wonder why?
The bar was owned by a lib, the bakery is owned by a conservative. According to activist judges conservatives have no rights. Remember Democrats are communists even their goose stepping judges!
“All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others.”
Orwell was absolutely right about the left, nothing has changed.
ask
“do you support or vote for Hillary”
if the answer is yes kick them out.
use there tactics against them.
Because liberals have written civil rights legislation to make serving them a right while giving themselves permission to discriminate.
The Colorado Civil Rights Commission in the SAME WEEK said:
* that the Christian baker must make the homosexual wedding cake, refusing service violated their civil rights
* the atheist can refuse service to Christians because that is their freedom of association in belief
Liberals are UNFAIR in defining civil rights laws to say you must serve them, but they can refuse to serve you.
And they’ve already written it into laws at all levels while courts have been backing them up. That’s the essence of the case before the Supreme Court.
Oh, and liberals have the unfair standards for Islam. That the Muslim truck driver who doesn’t want to drive the beer truck or Muslim clerk who doesn’t want to ring up pork and wine have to be accommodated. The Obama DoJ took up multiple cases like this on the side of Muslims.
But if you try to refuse to do something per the Christian faith? Good luck trying, but the State has openly discriminated against you for years.
As liberals have written and interpreted the law, homosexuals are a protected class. That’s how refusing to serve them gets you sued for civil rights violations.
Ok, so I can ban Hillary’s supporters in my business?
Oops, decorations.
This precedent will be used solely to protect Facebook, Google/YouTube, and Twitter after they purge the likes of us. Degenerates playing marriage dress-up in order to attack legit businesses will still be okay. Thanks blam.
