Sessions recused himself from any investigation of the campaign. He did not recuse himself from crimes going on right under his nose. It goes without saying that a government coup falls into that category.

There was no reason to allow an illegal special council to be set up - it was not a valid investigation. And all the congressional information that has poured out demanded more than a 'looking into' from him. Indictments are way overdue.
