Your expectations of them are unrealistic. Becoming a police officer is not a Death Pact. You already forget, this is one of the very reasons why the Second Amendment exists. The People have the right to self defense. Instead of harboring unrealistic Hollywood expectations of police officers, use this knowledge to push for full restoration of the right to bear arms.
It always amazes me how conservatives just can't manage to push back. They always want someone else to do their dirty work. Sound familiar?
