Can’t Italy demand that the NHS let Alfie, now an Italian citizen, be discharged from the hospital? In a sane country, what Alder Hay Hospital staff are doing, is kidnapping/false imprisonment. If he dies (as they apparently hope) they should be charged with murder.

Here is a case where someone else will take over the care, which costs them nothing, but just to avoid having to say they’re wrong, the bureaucrats are going to kill a child. Isn’t socialism wonderful?

When the government decides someone needs to be dead, no amount or sympathy or reason may be permitted to prevail. The decree has been issued and must be carried out. What does it matter, after all, for an undifferentiated cog in the machine? If it is defective, recycle it or dispose of it. You would not build your machine with a weak or defective part. It is a race now between the totalitarian Moslems and the tiny group of Communists and commie clones (or globalists- effectively the same thing) as to which will take control of the last of Western Civilization.
