Wiping is one thing. Wiping them while making it look like they haven’t been wiped is something else entirely.
Exactly. Simply wiped is obvious. Even wiped and then reconstructed to look like normal use can be discerned. I guarantee you these machines have been carefully wiped. The only question is proving it, and getting the case tossed based on this. Knowing the lying rats, they’ll probably plant “evidence” of hacking - probably so obvious that it’ll be deemed too obvious. No self respecting hacker would leave those kinds of tracks behind.
