It's hardly a "celibacy movement." "Incel" is short for "involuntarily celibate." As I understand it, it's a group of men who gripe that they can't find female sex partners. Paradoxically, they blame women's liberation, which - if anything - made women more sexually available than they were in the days of "patriarchy."

It is similar to the problem Islam has - successful men get all the women leaving the rest of the men celibate, not by choice.
