Hang in there 41! Not yet, okay?
Broken heart syndrome?
Prayers for 41 and his family.
No surprise-—and I assume he is ready.
.
Not a surprise.
Spouses, especially long married spouses, died soon after their beloved spouse passes.
Grieving takes a toll.
God bless H.W. Bush...
RIP, Barbara Bush...
The grievance gets to be just too much...
I don’t think he will last long with Mrs Bush gone. They spent their whole lives together. They got married on Jan 6th 1945. After 73 years together, his will to live without her is probably very slight.
Mr. Bush will receive the best care available, until he decides otherwise. Just as with Barbara.
They were together for a very long time.
Yup...I've seen it many times in my 20+ years working for a major hospital.
grieving...... yes
Stress and more stress and then grieving are a tough combination
I recall that when Debbie Reynolds passed. I always wondered how her other two children felt. We are but human. Some parents are spiritually much closer to some of their children than they could ever be to the others.
We had a family member diagnosed with it after he lost his wife of 50+ years.
That was fast.
Heard on Fox he was admitted yesterday some sort of blood infection..praying for his recovery
Best thoughts and prayers for President Bush.
Yeah, maybe. He was our Commander-in Chief during Desert Storm when I worked at US Army TACOM as a civilian temp, pitching in for the war effort. It’s the closest I have ever been to knowing something about the Arsenal of Democracy and how it works...or at least how it worked in 1991 and I’m still very proud of having been a small part of it.
This occurred Sunday morning according to the Houston Chronicleand was hospitalized
for a blood infection

“President Bush was admitted to the Houston Methodist Hospital yesterday
morning after contracting an infection that spread to his blood,” McGrath wrote
Monday. “He is responding to treatments and appears to be recovering. We
will issue additional updates as events warrant.”
Why not? What does he have left to accomplish?
Any comments from liberal professors in Kalifornia?
Broken heart syndrome
Yes. Im sure it is. My 92 year old father is having the hardest time getting over the death of my mom, last September. He was giving up, but we are doing our best to be there for him, and I think he is finally coming to terms with it. He seems less depressed, but he started out in better shape than President Bush. I cant imagine how it would be to lose your partner of 67 years, in my parents case. Im sure the Bushes were together much longer. My prayers are with him at this time.
