On Sunday, the most recognizable far-left activist from Parkland, Florida called for the confiscation of all semi-automatic weapons from American society in the wake of a shooting in Tennessee.
Reacting to the shooting at a Waffle House in Tennessee in which several people were shot, far-left activist Emma González immediately attacked the NRA and Smith & Wesson Corp.
After several tweets, González called for the confiscation of all semi-automatic firearms, writing: “Removing the assault and semi-automatic weapons from our Civilian society, instituting thorough background checks and mandatory waiting periods (and raising the buying age and banning the production of high-capacity magazines) are the ways to stop shootings in America.”

Good news is the far left wackos who are about 40% of the Democratic Party base support a total ban on guns/repeal of the 2nd amendment. Its getting increasingly hard for the Democrats to say they are “moderate” and just want a few “common sense gun safety” rules. Their own lunatics won’t let them keep that cat in the bag. The problem for them is this is a losing issue in elections.
This will get a lot of regular Americans to the polls in November.
Guns have the volition of a cabbage, and laws to control violence by controlling guns have proved futile.
President Obama ordered a gun violence study by Centers for Disease Control (CDC). The study concluded self-defense can be an important crime deterrent and there was no evidence gun restrictions reduced gun violence. Skeptics can pay $38 for their own copy. However, the CDC study ordered by Bill Clinton in 2003 presented the same conclusions, and that one is free on line.
The Clinton Administration also commissioned in 2005 a National Science Foundation (NSF) study that could not find a positive correlation between gun control laws and other measures after consulting 400 sources and doing its own research. The only dissent, detailed in Appendix A, John Lott’s conclusion that concealed carry laws do drive down murder rates.
Here the dissenter discussed a twenty-year study by John Lott and William Landes from the University of Chicago Law School. That and subsequent Lott studies the NSF reviewed correlated passage of concealed carry laws with large decreases in multiple victim shootings, and reduced harm when shootings did occur.
Focusing on a rifle, while ignoring comprehensive government failures to restrain beforehand or confront during the Florida killings is baffling.
The student emotional, asymmetrical reactions only provide useful political theater. A useful answer would be concealed carry by school employees. Harden the site and psychopaths will go elsewhere. People in a gun free zone can expect the same security as chickens in a Foster Farms processing plant.

The kids may be calling for the guns, but the Dems know better. They will go after them VERY GRADUALLY...by making ownership more and more expensive, restrictive, and risky.
And they will NEVER go door-to-door to grab them. They don’t have to. They’ll just make them illegal to own...so if you use them, you’ll commit a felony. If someone is breaking into your house, you better find another way to defend it, your gun is useless, as you’ll spend the rest of your life in jail if you kill him (and maybe just 20 years in jail if you shoot at him, but don’t harm his seriously). Also, expect 10 years if your ex, girlfriend, ‘friend’, or anyone else rats you out, and no, the courts will create a 4th Amendment loophole to enable these searches.
And that’s just risk end. They’ll also turn the screws on the arms manufacturers. Sure, you can own a Glock, but if you want to do it legally, you’d better have a few thousand sitting around to buy it. Obviously the same for ammunition. Hillary made it clear that she intended to hold manufactures liable for crimes committed with their products - a few lawsuits, then no more insurance, and then that’s the end for them.
That’s probably enough for now. So when the Dems promise to NOT take away your guns, remember, they won’t need to. So any VOTE or non-vote that helps the Democrats, such as voting third party or staying home...puts us that much CLOSER to the Dems being able to get to work on their long-term plan of disarming of the country.

It is evil to call for the confiscation guns from law abiding citizens. The waffle house nut had his guns taken from him, and guess what? He managed to get another because he’s a psychotic criminal.
A lot of semi-auto owners are now going to see their weapon as the only thing between their families and howling mobs bent on their extermination.
For now my AR-15, a fire in the hearth, & our Bible read by its light are my chief sources of warmth. My wife lies asleep nearby, and my determination grows.
I’m tired of people escaping their shithole countries and then coming here to try to make our country the same as what they escaped from.
Attend their rallies.
Give the Parkland snowflakes a map of a nearby neighborhood, and like the Nazis raiding Jewish ghettos,
