No, I quit on my own. But it was hard, very hard. I don’t know if it was physical or psychological, but it was real. If quitting cocaine was easy, then it wasn’t an addiction. I bet it wasn’t easy, though.
No, it was easy as shit. One morning, or afternoon, I stumbled into consciousness and made a choice to never do it again. Yeah, quitting tobacco was hard, needed Chantix. Quitting pot wasn’t, smoked basically everyday for 25 years, and finally got bored with it. Haven’t had it since.
I know that cocaine is addictive as it is a CNS stimulant, however my use of cocaine did not cause an addiction for me as I did not use it daily for some extended period of time in order for me to become physically dependent on it.
I also came to the easily realization that this drug is extremely bad news, and there is no benefit to my using it, and it causes legit psychosis even after one use, so I walked away and never looked back.
I consider myself very fortunate.
