Again, here is Trump, the POTUS, making a tweet from the sideline about how gosh darn it that Sessions guy just won’t do the right thing. The helpless bystander role he seems to have taken on is a mystery to me. He has limits yes but there is wide spectrum between scorched earth fire em all and doing nothing but tweets. IMHO

Sessions recused himself from everything and anything connected with Hillary. His helpless bystander role is self imposed.

Rosenstein, the acting AG, signed the illegal FISA warrant precisely in an effort to destroy Trump and ensure a Hillary victory. The idea that now he’s going to flip flop and seriously investigate Hillary is a nonstarter.

Trump is used to his underlings doing exactly as he says. But the President is not a dictator and Sessions knows that he can’t act that way. Even so I agree with Trump that Sessions has been too deferential to the Deep State. It doesn’t really help Trumps case though for him to trash his own attorney general. It’s no wonder he has a hard time finding qualified people to work for him. It’s no wonder he has a turnover problem.

I watched a YouTube video last night by a guy who believes that Trump's calling Debbie Blabbermouth-Shultz by the first name of Wendy was deliberate, because if he'd tweeted about "Debbie and the DNC's refusal to let the FBI examine the DNC servers", the press would have ignored it, and not reported on the tweet at all. So in order to get media attention, Trump deliberately called her Wendy, instead of Debbie, knowing that the media would jump on the "error" and go with the whole tweet. Makes sense in a crazy sort of way, and Trump likes to play mind games with these people. Maybe that's what he did with the wording that he was being "wire tapped", knowing they'd have to report that...and they did, in detail, making fun of the term he used.

Along this same line, I'm wondering if his comments about Sessions not doing the right thing, etc., is to let the libs think that nothing is being done, when in actuality things are moving ahead, but without it being publicly known. You just have to wonder given all the other times Trump has Trumped the media and Dems with stuff like this. Time will tell.
