Hip-hop megastar and fashion mogul Kanye West took to Twitter on Saturday and declared his “love” for conservative YouTube star turned grassroots activist Candace Owens. “I love the way Candace Owens thinks,” West wrote in a rare message to his 11 million-plus Twitter followers.

he’s famous for frequently saying crazy things but the only time he really really gets in trouble is when he says something that is vaguely conservative:

Kanye is a kook, but even kooks can be right sometimes.

Conservatives are called ‘’firebrands’’ and liberals are called ‘’activists’. The subjective definition isn’t lost on me.
Don’t look that gift horse in the mouth. Candace’s goal is to take the black vote from the Dems, and with Kanye’s tweet to his 20 million followers, she’s making progress. If she’s just 20% successful Dems will not win a national election again.
Nutty as a 12-nut fruitcake. If you have a nut allergy and don’t want to die in agony of anaphylaxis, get out that fire extinguisher full of epinephrine and take three or four long blasts of it down your throat before reading anything, anything at all, about Kanye West.
After Katrina and West’s unhinged criticisms of Dubya, I hated him almost as much as the Dixie Chicks. But my enthusiasm for Dubya has cooled somewhat since then and I recognize there might be a decent little tortured conservative soul in Kayne West’s body. I hope so. And I wish it the best.

Candace Owens is new on my radar, but so far I really like the way she thinks.
As a Republican, I ask the black community: What have you done with the freedom for which many Republicans fought and died. Break the invisible chains that the democrats have controlled you with.
