At least four people were killed and several others were injured early Sunday when a gunman opened fire at a Waffle House in Nashville, Tenn., police said.
The alleged gunman, Travis Reinking, 29, began shooting at patrons around 3:25 a.m. Sunday at the Waffle House, located about 16 miles southeast of downtown Nashville, before fleeing the scene, Metro Nashville police said. Authorities had initially said Reinking was a person of interest, but later said he has been identified as a suspect.
"If you see a nude guy walking around this morning call the police department," Don Aaron of the Metro Police Department told WTVF.
A person at the restaurant had wrestled away the alleged shooter's rifle.
Police initially described the gunman as a man with short hair who was last seen walking on Murfreesboro Pike. He "shed his coat" after firing his gun and is nude.

I bet he is an anti-gun terrorist possibly.
I don’t know which state law would apply since the he was apparently from Illinois (at least that from the registration of the car).
Do Waffle Houses and other places that stay open. In the early a.m attract violent lunatics? Kinda like trailers attract tornadoes?
I would say your best chances of running into a dodgy crowd at Waffle House is between the hours of 1-5 am. But you can say that about any place. I've learned early in life that nothing good tends to happen during those predawn hours.
I've been to a lot of them throughout the South and I've never had a bad experience. Excellent service, very friendly waitstaff and you get to see the food made right in front of you. And the food is extremely cheap. My only main complaint with them is they use margarine instead of butter. I can immediately tell the difference. When you are used to good butter, margarine is pretty nasty stuff.
I think I'm going to post an article or two on the Waffle House. They have an interesting story.

Maybe they shorted him one McNugget?
Your post is absolutely correct - all the bad action at WH happens after midnight when the drunks head in. We had a few meals at WH recently on a trip down to Louisiana. Everybody was friendly at noontime.
It’s amazing how many terrible restaurants there are once you’re off the ramp of I-65 or I-81! I don’t know how many Shoney’s and Cracker Barrels we counted.

Their bland "comfort" food inside is nothing special either. This is your grandmother's cooking only if she was sick in bed and your layabout cousin had to make it and couldn't find the spice rack.
I couldn’t agree more with your witty post!
We found a new convenience store called Sheetz or something which we kept punning on as we travelled down. Thank God for Yelp which helped us find local diners and restaurants that were actually good and full of country atmosphere unlike these horrible ersatz contrapions. Found a terrific restaurant in Dandridge, TN.
Local TV is reporting that this scum, just like previous shooters, was known to the FBI.
So its looks like the same pattern is playing out. Scum is known to FBI, yet nothing is done to stop said scum before they act.
Remember that it was the psychotic liberals who fought for and advocated for the closing of insane asylums. They wanted these nuts in public. Just as with everything they touch, they create the problem then want to restrict liberty to fix the problem that they created in the first place.
Its time to bring back the asylums and put the quack psychiatrists and big pharma out of business. The community treatment model of treating psychos doesnt work.
He's a white guy and his name and photo have been all over multiple media outlets from the moment this story broke.
I'd wager a bet nobody asked him to stand on a scale or next to a tape measure while he was shooting up the place but it's fair to say his height and weight weren't particularly memorable so I'd guess he's not a giant, not a midget, and not a leviathan. In other words, he's "of average build."
This scum was known to the FBI and according to social media his family is apparently full of far-left libtards who are proud of their #resistance.
Link please.
I mean about him being a leftist. I know he was well-known law enforcement.
I couldn't find a FB profile on this guy.
Isn’t it against the law to be naked in public? In both Illinois and Tennessee?
His family owned a crane company which means they were in the construction industry, not exactly the bastion of far-left libtards.
Whenever these events happen the first thing people on all sides try to do is link a political motive. I can just as easily go on Twitter and post that Travis Reinking was a Trump voter who was angry about abortion. It doesn't make it so.
What we do know now is that he had an apartment across the street from Waffle House, where presumably he went to put some clothes on. At some point he had a Facebook account that has now been deleted. By who is not yet known but he did post about the Illuminati conspiracy on it back in 2017.
Was he a far-left liberal? Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't but I'd be wary of claims on social media unless there is substance behind them.
