Attorney General Jeff Sessions informed the White House that he may resign from his post in the event that President Trump fires Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, according to a new report.
Sessions notified White House counsel Don McGahn of this during a phone call last weekend, sources told the Washington Post.
During the phone call, Sessions sought information about a meeting between Trump and Rosenstein and was relieved to hear that the meeting was primarily pleasant, and mentioned that he would have to weigh resigning if Trump fired Rosenstein, a person familiar with the call told the Post.
And you know that the story is true how, exactly?
Because it’s printed in the WaPo?
When has WaPo ever printed a nasty fake news story that Trump didn’t call them out on? He devoted three tweets this morning to bashing the NYT for a fake news story about Cohen. About this story, not a peep.
So...the absence of evidence equals proof... got it.
No wonder fantasy was your chosen field.
Trump has a well established pattern of calling out fake news—especially from WaPo. He’s not shy. If there had been a misrepresentation of the facts he would not have hesitated to confront them. It’s SOP for him.
>>Granny had bigger balls!<<
LMAO! Now that there is funny!
You’re explaining the worldview of the alternative facts phony right.
Remember that in the real world that being honest isn’t a crime.
Your comment reminds me why celebrity matters more than consistency, honesty, and intellect.
No, it’s not a bitch. It’s a foregone conclusion. It’s a matter of what investigation will bring down the fraud first. It’s reminder that just as the Clintons had hypocrites who overlooked their behavior, we, sadly, on the right have cultish types who put person(s) above principle.
Good luck with that new phony bologna Trumpian rationalization.
And the memo proves what, that attacks on Comey have been bogus and self-serving?
Why don’t you go hang with your buds at the GOP circle “activity” room, or wherever it is your kind accumulates.
Are you a conservative who thinks principles and virtue is important is something for you to mock as a “preacher?” I suppose you are. Principles and decency are threats to your worldview.
Like most people, I’m sure, I’ve no idea what you’re babbling about. Enjoy your evening.
Thank us very much for saving America from the Hillary Clinton presidency you and yours would have inflicted upon us with your idiocy.
You’re welcome.
I am Christian. Conservative use to mean, and still does to me, God, family, and country. This nation was given by Divine intervention a Constitution that gives its citizens, unalienable, God given rights that NO man/government, or organized religion, can give or take.
Some wolves dressed as sheep, have divined that to mean a Harvard Law Degree, bestowed them a right to hold the office of president, even though they are NOT a 'natural born' US citizen.... and you talk about virtue and principles... Fakes are a threat to any civilized society.... especially those that come in the name of Jesus.
Just remember, the standard by which you have taken upon yourself to judge President Trump is the very one you will get to be judged by... might want to refresh what it is that God says He hates.
Proverbs 6:16-19 King James Version (KJV) 16 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
I should be judged by the standards you would judge Trump by, which is to say zero standards.
