WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump criticized OPEC on Friday for output curbs that have helped raise global oil prices and said artificially high prices would not be accepted, drawing rebukes from oil-producing countries as prices dipped following his remarks.
Looks like OPEC is at it again. With record amounts of Oil all over the place, including the fully loaded ships at sea. Oil prices are artificially Very High! No good and will not be accepted! Trump wrote on Twitter.
Several members of OPEC, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, said in response that oil prices were not being artificially inflated. The group is slated to meet in June to decide its next steps after reducing output since January 2017 in a move aimed at supporting prices that had fallen sharply.

Who forces it out of the world market? Someone has to tell the owners of the oil they cannot sell it internationally.
I just want foreign goods taxed.
So unlike Trump who wants lower oil prices you want higher prices. You think it makes any difference whether you oil comes from Oklahoma or Alberta?
So you want high penalties against all reportable income and no penalties on foreign made-goods that paid no US taxes?
You want to tax oil but Trump wants it cheaper. One of you is headed for disappointment. You didnt answer my question but nice try at putting words in my mouth. You want to tax oil coming from Canada. What does that accomplish besides making oil more expensive?
People extracting oil in the US pay taxes on it and help the economy with local spending. States like Texas also get a cut for their tax revenues, minimizing the burden on taxpayers.
Canadian oil gets sold at market price in the US and profits most Canada.
So, now, answer my question.
From each according to his ability to each according to his need. That would be a great system wouldnt it. Everyone could put in a little more and take a little less.
The only concern I want an oil company to have is finding, producing, and delivering oil and its byproducts to me as fast, efficiently, and cheap as they can. I think they do a remarkable job of it.
Gas is as cheap as it ever has been. Yet you turn your envious eye towards private individuals who take enormous risks to sell and sometimes profit from oil. Why dont you save your ire for the various level of government who make far more money on oil then anyone else.
What other daily consumables do you believe you purchase directly? Which one of those do you buy where the company is empathetic towards your pay cut so tomspeak when prices go up?
You seem to think you understand emotions and motives of people you have never met. Is it greedy for the American frackers, who have brought the Arabs to their knees, to make as much money as the world will pay them? If you think its easy money then get your piece of it by scrimping saving and investing. Once you take the risk come back and tell me how you give it away.
I see. If we buy American oil the workers pay income taxes. The corporations pay income taxes. You like income taxes, oops no, you like tariffs. Oh wait tariffs require imports so you like imports, oops no, you like income taxes.
Trump wants cheaper oil you want to tax it. Simple enough. Trump wants lower prices, you want higher prices. That is what tariffs are for.
Do a little research into historical oil or gasoline prices. Check your facts and comeback with something other than the price of gas went up today. Even at $3 gas is not expensive.
What other necessities did you have in mind? I will explain them to you. Maybe youre thinking of your government regulated milk? Maybe your government subsidized corn?
You havent answeed my question after I answered yours, FRaud.
