Andrew McCabe — who was fired as FBI deputy director last month — hit back at former FBI Director James Comey, saying he was not telling the truth in an interview earlier Wednesday.
“Comey has relied on the accuracy and the soundness of the Office of the Inspector General's (OIG) conclusions in their report on Mr. McCabe. In fact, the report fails to adequately address the evidence (including sworn testimony) and documents that prove that Mr. McCabe advised Director Comey repeatedly that he was working with the Wall Street Journal on the stories in question prior to publication,” said Michael Bromwich, counsel for McCabe.
In an appearance on ABC’s “The View” earlier Wednesday, Comey said he ordered the probe that eventually led to McCabe’s firing, and believes McCabe lied about his conversations with the media

Being a female, I would have handled this in a very different way. When I was a manager...I MANAGED. I will forever despise Sessions...of whom I had such a great opinion...as he goes down in history as a complete failure.
And I would join you with the proviso we also take a poke at the people here on FR who, in the face of a mountain of evidence to the contrary, still think Sessions is some sort of Ninja “warrior” furiously working behind the scenes to make everything right. Their continued cognitive dissonance is startling. Sessions is simply McScrotumNeck's "inside man" in the administration.

Sorry but McCabe, Comey and the rest, regardless of what they have done behave like men who know there is no way under any circumstances that they will be indicted and undergo a trial for their crimes. Has any adult American ever thought they would see the day that the FBI flatly refuses to turn over subpoenaed documents to Congress and nothing of consequences happens? Simply put, the fix is in.
You have absolutely no idea what the Attorney General has been doing and the fact that you don’t is proof he’s been doing it well. The days of AGs spewing on social media and TV talk shows is over.
