“Neglect can completely change the situation or kill the patient overnight. Nursing homes are extremely overfilled and understaffed. Unfortunately, this kind of happening is not rare.”

This is not limited to nursing homes...healthcare, in general, has become this way. I work for one of the largest “not-for-profit” hospital systems in the country and I see things covered up on a daily basis...medical records fraud, patient injuries reported with false information to make the situation look like it was not the fault of the facility. Wrong medications, wrong procedures, forged patient signatures. It is truly disgusting.
