I don’t think there is any bigotry because she is a female. We all admired Sully’s coolness and “right stuff” under pressure too.

You have a point. However, all licensed pilots are calm under pressure -- it is part of the training. Moreover, Sully had to do his landing in extraordinary circumstances: very little room to operate between skyscrapers on both sides of the river and no nice runway to land on. He had to improvise. OTOH, our pilot here just had to follow engine-out procedures to fly to the nearest airport with a good runway. I'm sure she's a good pilot, but her job was a LOT easier than Sully's. How come the other pilot on board is never mentioned?
