The chemical attack allegedly perpetrated by the Syrian government is most likely a false flag, according to Senator Rand Paul (R-KY).

When asked by CNN’s Wolf Blitzer if stalling Russian sanctions was the right move for Trump, Paul directed the topic to whether or not the chemical attack in Syria was even genuine.

“I think before you talk about sanctions, we oughta talk about what evidence is there that Russia was complicit in this attack,” Paul said on Monday.

“In fact, for that matter, I still look at the attack and say Assad either must be the dumbest dictator on the planet or maybe he didn’t do it. I have yet to see evidence that he did do it. The intelligence agencies claim they have that evidence. But think about it: does it make any sense?”

“He’s been winning the war for the last couple of years,” he continued. “The only thing that would galvanize the world to attack Assad directly is a chemical attack. It killed relatively few people compared to what can be killed with traditional bombs, traditional machine guns, traditional tanks. And so you wonder, what logic would there be for Assad to be using chemical weapons?

“So before we get to the Russians, we have to first determine that Syria was implicated, and then we outta determine what the connection is between Russia and Syria on this attack.”

OAN has a reporter in Syria and the city it happened in. The city is normal. From what the people and doctors told him this looked like a set-up. Doctors said everything was normal then men bust in to room hollering a chemical attack and begin washing people eyes out with water all the while filming. Doctors did not know what was going on so they helped. After filming the people left. Doctors said they so no one that had any signs of a chemical attack. The eyes were normal which would not be the case if there was a chemical attack eyes don’t remain normal

Yes l believe Trump got played. Hopefully he will back off. Congress is not going to give him permission to go into Syria. I’m sure he knows that. He can use that to put the brakes on.

You know, sometimes is makes good sense to call a spade a spade! Most of the time, when referring to politicians of all stripes, “colorful language” is the only tool that can be used to adequately describe the individual(s) under discussion. And yes, it does have everything to do with liberty.

Assad may not be a boy scout but the people that want to overthrow him are radical islamists. They lost their abiltity to set up shop in Egypt. Libya is a bloody mess with factions killing each other. Why is everyone so quick to believe that Assad is the most evil guy on the planet and the “freedom fighters” are, Eagle Scouts. If McCain is with them, then there’s something not right.

Tulsi Gabbard goes there, on her own, and gets a completely different story than the one we’re being fed and then she is cast out, in the same way that Paul is. Why can’t they be right?

They say he used Chlorine Gas, right? Do yourself a favor to test the theory that you’d be able to run after inhaling that. Find someone that has a pool and uses a chlorinator, with the big tablets. Open the chlorinator and the pale that holds the tablets and take a big huge whiff into your lungs. You’ll be on the ground choking as the chlorine starts getting into your lungs.

Because if you think that what I said was crazy, in support of Rand Paul, then you without question believe the government and MSM, when they tell you that attack was carried out by Assad. Gen Mattis, himself, stated that they didn’t know who committed the attack, just days prior to the bombing. They still don’t know who carried out the previous “chemical attack”.

But you believe the same intel apparatus that spied on Candidate Trump, and associates, illegally. You believe the same intel apparatus that tried to and continues to get rid of the President. And you believe the MSM that for, what, 2 years now, has been trying to destroy the President and this country with fake news. And, you think we should be the worlds policeman and stand up for everyone, at the taxpayer’s expense, risk a great deal and gain nothing.

Yes.... there were recorded eye witnesses to the govt helicopters dropping the barrels (barrels!!) of chlorine gas— not sarin which would have “markers” but primitive chlorine gas (binary agent) which dates from WWI in technology.

This attack was on Alawites and.... Christians. Assad has enemies in his own religion group— the Alawites. And Alawite Christian allies against Assad. Entirely possible.

The russians making the most of the propaganda opportunity to support their client Assad.

One other potential— the “moderate” rebels (or some of them) turned to aid Assad... and work as doubles to keep the “action” going for US handlers to justify US continued presence and expense of the 105 cruise missiles (price tag, for replacing this stock?). And the added benefit of draining the landmark money just approved to re-build our Navy, submarines and F-35 and F-18 fleets and spare parts to keep them flying— that is... this hinders this effort, and thus empowers the “obamaumao” de-stabilizers and still pay Lockheed. One other line of thought.

Big gap in logic here (as well as including Boris Johnson with Nikki). Misplaced skepticism— be skeptical that there are not EXPERTS first.... and INVITED in by Assad. Which would be what a “winner” Assad would do. The opposite action points to russkie propaganda. Journalists, indeed.

Well the folks I'm referring to were from OAN and the UK Independent and both conducted extensive man in the street interviews days ago, visiting the hospital, going to the neighborhood the alleged attack took place, visiting the Al Qaeda tunnels, talking to random people, etc. By their own account no police or military interfered or obstructed them either...they were free to look around.

This will prove invaluable when the "experts" you're referring to try to run their patented 'let me inform you what happened' propaganda game on the English speaking public.

The doctors of the hospital who have been there when under the thumb of the ISIL and now are still there under Syrian Army (Assad’s people) are saying there was no gas attack but regular Syrian bombing which the “white helmets” (who are touted as the same as the mujahideen/al nusra/alqaeda) began shouting “gas” when there wasn’t any.
