I e-filed last night. It was accepted at 2:24 am today. Was going to use direct payment online until I read the disclaimer and decided I did not want to give the IRS access to my bank account until I notified them in writing to revoke it so I mailed a check with the voucher this morning. I also mailed my state return today.

The people/preparers who are panicking could just take an envelope and stamp and be done with the problem.

IRS having access to my account is why I don’t direct pay. I use payusatax.com. Costs $2.58 but that’s nothing compared to what we owed. Lol
