Another picture shows what I believe to be the Front Fan intact, however the whole front nacelle is gone. CFM56, violent compressor stall?, or did something let go and, liberate internally. Either way, this sort of incident is a big deal to the FAA aka containment vs liberation of something internal where it impacts the fuselage....
Yep, the FAA will be all over that one. That plane won’t be back in service for a while.
