Why? Hannity is under no obligation to disclose that he consulted with Cohen or anyone else.
Ummm, Hannity said it because he never hired the guy.
Kimba Wood, the slut, cheats on her husbands, and then sues them!
Baloney!
Yep, she’s surfaced in at lease one divorce proceeding as the “other woman,” I think.
Hannity needs to hire several high-powered lawyers and start taking scalps.
He can start with Judge Kimba Woods’ head.
You could not be more wrong. People like Hannity who are in the opinion business have conversations with all kinds of people all the time. So he had consultations with an attorney who also had Trump as a client. So what.
The client's name, by itself, is not subject to the attorney-client privilege, except in rare circumstances, which probably does not apply here.
One of those few times I wish I had cable
What are they saying?
You are wrong: The attorney-client privilege applies to any communication with an attorney for the purpose of obtaining legal advice. A formal retainer or an invoice for services rendered is not required to invoke the privilege.
Trump: I didn’t know about Stormy Daniels payoff
THU, APR 05
President Donald Trump speaks with reporters, aboard Air Force One on a flight to Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland, saying he has no knowledge of his attorney paying Stormy Daniels to secure her silence in their alleged affair
Thanks. I should have phrased my response as the “alleged payment.”
Only those who are nuttier than fruitcakes.
In their frenzied quest to “get” Trump the left is setting some precedents that I’m quite positive they don’t want applied to themselves at any time.
How the hell can any judge order an attorney to release a clients name
Hand in the NY Phone book, tell the judge - they are in there.
really looking to quiet hannity
If no money changed hands then Cohen is not his lawyer. You are not protected by privilege in that case. This has been fairly clear in the past that random conversations are not covered because there has to be a paid retainer.
