Wow, really? I view all Muslims as potential terrorists and Islam as a threat to the US and the west. But if the US wants to pretend it’s concerned about dead kids, then it shouldn’t be supporting Saudi’s war. For that matter, Saudi Arabia is not our ally. It gave us the 9/11 hijackers and funnels millions of dollars into US universities funding Islamic studies. If the Muslims want to kill each other, then let them, but there is no reason to support any of them.

Yes, the favored French and British (and US) pipeline running overland..vs. other possibilities. Our supposed “interests” vs. what the russians want. Whose civil war is this— syria is a friend to Iran (and thus was helpful to US against the Baathists in Iraq, and Saddam, all to the wishes of that Saud government), and syria is a Russian client state.
Israel— wants the Syria more in keeping with the new Saud hegemony rather than the Iranian Hamas/Hezbollah variety.
