That's easy for you to say. Trump can fire Sessions any time he wants to, true enough. But he can't hire a new AG without a Senate confirmation. Recess appointment you say? The Senate will just take a break, like it did last August, so that it isn't technically in recess.

why do we need Senate confirmation when a new acting atty general, or anyone nominated as atty general, couldn’t be any less effective than sessions?
why does congress have the right to give thumbs up or down on a presidential nominee? couldn’t Trump find one loyal career civil servant lawyer in DOJ to do his bidding? why does it have to be sessions or rosenstein or wray?
aren’t all these positions, regardless of title, supposedly working under their boss, President Trump?
