oops, wrong thread! Sorry, mods.
I don't "say" I'm a vet, I AM a vet. WHO ARE YOU?
You're f'in nobody.
On Feb. 9, 1950, Wisconsin Sen. Joseph McCarthy burst onto the national stage with his claim to possess the names of 205 communists working for the U.S. State Department.
Are you related?
You say that youre a veteran, but you dont want our forces to stop Assads army, Russia, Iran and North Korea from building sites in Syria?
Building sites in Syria? What sites are you talking about?
Getting communists out of our government is a good thing. McCarthy just didn’t do it right.
The Syrians, Russians, Iranians and North Koreans are wanting to build military facilities in Syria. They’ve already proven that. They’re not going to sit around on the ground and let worms crawl up into them...unless we stop them from building sites.
Go rub your disgusting self against someone else...freak.
You nailed it sir
Dead on
Everything else is noise and subterfuge
No one was a bigger “Cruzer” than I was. I was a bundler for goodness sakes. Do you see me slamming President Trump?

I’m not claiming that all Cruzers are anti-Trump. Hopefully, some of them have come around. But there’s a group of regular, anti-Trump posters here on Free Republic who seem to be either trolls, just plain dumb or Cruzers who still seem to hold a grudge because their guy didn’t win. Sometimes, like the other night, these people are SO busy hyper-ventilating and attacking our President that Free Republic feels like a site full of leftist agitators.
I’m not saying that you’re a member of ANY of those groups. Nor am I assuming that everyone who was pro-Cruz is anti-Trump.
How much did this pointless attack cost us?
At least it didn’t escalate into a larger conflict and a renewed effort to replace Assad. There is nobody in that country capable of ruling it outside of the Kurd and Assad. At best we could setup the Kurd as their own state or maybe merge them with the existing Kurdistan in Iraq. This would believe it or not be a step in a new direction.
The post world war 1 British who setup theses states were right, you can’t have long term stability in the arib world with country made up of rival factions of Islam.
We can either continue to do as the British initially did and use this to control them or we can redraw those borders along ethic and cultural lines.
I guess a few million dollars isn’t bad considering it is all complete bullshit. Assad most definitely did not do this.
