People are concerned about Facebook, Google, etc yet can't see the elephant in the room that is our own government.
Our own government has been collecting every type of data you can imagine. Emails, text messages, phone calls, credit card and banking transactions, web sites we visit, stores we go to, streets and highways we travel, airplanes, buses and trains we get on, property we own, weapons we purchase, hunting and fishing licenses, fuel we purchase, and on and on and on.
Yes, I trust the government now because we don't have the "Deep State" at the helm. It's laughable.
I only have Firefox on my Linux machine. Oh, forgot, I still have Lynx text browser for specific purposes on it. It is a very fast text only command line browser. Very old program.
You have to stop using reason and logic if you want to keep posting here.
There is a Windows version of Lynx too. I used it for many years for sites that were slow and cluttered by Java scripts. Like on Drudgereport.
I still use it to send tips to Drudge.
Any post put on FR is instantly available on Google search.

Don’t get me wrong. I fully understand that the Deep State is deeply embedded throughout our civil service and also, by way of black money, throughout certain select industries (e.g., Silicon valley). I fully expect “The Empire to Strike Back.”
But I also believe our President is doing everything in his power to expose and remedy these issues. I guess the verdict is still out on who will triumph, though I will admit to feeling there is something almost Biblical surrounding Trump’s elevation to the Presidency.

Just think about your medical records. EMRs all require internet connections and support. If government wants to target you or your provider, it’s just a few clicks. Great for parallel construction.
As we have seen with the corrupt Mueller investigation, law enforcement is all about targeting individuals and finding the crime rather that looking for crime and finding the criminals.
Absolutely correct. I can name a number of mass arrest situations that have had that exact process follow an incident. It is a travesty to our legal system.
