During his fourteen months in office, Trump has not let me down, but one time, and that was his signing of the last omnibus bill.

About the same for me. The omnibus is not "the swamp" but it does fund the managerial state, an appendage of the swamp. I'm sure it also contains Dem money for various "community organizations", i.e. leftist causes.

I am not that upset with the magnitude of the spending. We can grow the economy and grow out of some of our debt. But the continued spending on big government, even under Trump, means there is no hope for eliminating big government.

The omnibus bill is not a budget, and Trump can spend as little as he wants to. Wait and see what he actually spends, not what Congress suggested he spend.
