If it lost a blade, I would think the remaining blades would simply swing downward and stop due to the imbalance.Or they could break out a window and get someone killed.

Thanks for the response. I ‘thought’ you were implying there was little to no copper in the turbine itself. I think you are correct in that the EXTRA copper is for the interconnectivity.
