Reading over these 300 plus posts shows many different opinions all over the political landscape, so while I am in agreement with the military action the President has ordered, my main thoughts this night are with any US, British, French and/or our allied armed service members in these action and my prayer to God is that they complete their missions and all return safely unharmed.

Any individual or regime that is anti-freedom, anti-rights, that weaponises and enforces their totalitarian will thru force and terror needs to be dealt with in my view. The fact is the free developed nations of the world fight secret wars and skirmishes with these evildoers all the time. US spec ops seizing a boat from North Korea to Iran for example (wmd components,etc)....this has been going on for many years. The intel agencies, security services share info, leverage is established, operations are conducted. Much of it we will never know about. Ballyhooing about “oh heavens not a war” — mofos peace just doesn’t arrive by happenstance.
