Cheney on Libby Pardon: Trump has 'righted' a 'wrongful conviction'

Former Vice President Dick Cheney praised President Trump's decision on Friday to pardon his former top aide Lewis "Scooter" Libby, saying that Trump had "righted" a "wrongful conviction."
"Scooter Libby is one of the most capable, principled, and honorable men I have ever known," Cheney said in a statement. "He is innocent, and he and his family have suffered for years because of his wrongful conviction."
"I am grateful today that President Trump righted this wrong by issuing a full pardon to Scooter, and I am thrilled for Scooter and his family."

True. Better late than never. Fitzpatrick was guilty of prosecutorial misconduct, and Colin Powell could have put an end to this charade yet let it go on.

Well currently Trump/Pence is exactly what's needed.......He's perfect as the other half and not just sitting behind a desk as many VP's in the past. Trumps delegated a lot of responsibility to this man so he can sustain his focus where it needs to be. Do not underestimate Pence's strength. I really loved Cheney......I wasn't all that excited about Bush until I saw his cabinet line up. Once Cheney was in the game I knew something was coming that would require a BIG man behind the man of the hour.
