Only a complete fool would believe a word that comes out of Paul Ryan’s mouth at this point, but Limbaugh’s basic point is correct.

We have devolved into a nation of selfish, entitled babies. The question isn’t whether or not we will eventually pay dearly for this, but merely when.

It’s Limbaugh’s job to be a Jeremiah. But it’s a politician’s job to get elected. That’s why GOP pols issue soothing remarks to selfish, entitled babies while paying lip service to Jeremiah. That they’re managing to hold the line is cause enough for celebration.
