But it's worse than that, McCabe's personal interests were to cover up the fact that he actively spiked and sabotaged the Clinton Foundation investigation. Hence his leak to the WSJ reporter pretending that he was defending the CF investigation against DoJ who wanted to spike it. He lied to everyone in his role and about his role as Hillary's cabana boy.
