Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein is fully aware he may be fired soon and is at peace with the possibility, NBC News is reporting.
The news network attributed the information to a source who has spoken to Rosenstein.
That sources, and two others, said they have spoken to him numerous times during his tenure as deputy attorney general. And they note he now seems less anxious than in previous times President Donald Trump has been critical of him.

As much as I like Trump, he has been abysmal in choosing his team, and the worst have been the people at the justice department. And I thought picking good people was his strong suit.
What a despicable cluster of immoral men who run our intel agencies! We would be wise to shut them down, fire everyone, and start over. Accept NO ONE for leadership that matriculated at an Ivy League university. They obviously don’t include honor and decency in their curriculums.
It’s not the picking of good competent people I don’t think, so much as the fact that partisanship has made everyone in DC batshit crazy.
The Never-Trumpers were compiling a list of anyone who was willing to work for Trump, telling them that they would “never work in this town again!” Then there is Congress refusing to confirm people in a timely fashion, and heaven only knows what the Democrats are doing to sabotage them (since there are so many still around).

That doesn’t explain his worst appointment by far - Sessions, who has been and will continue to be a millstone around his neck. Plus that appointment ended up costing a senate seat.
Couldn’t disagree more. Trump is DOA without Sessions.

PDJT can appoint from elsewhere in his administration someone who has already been through confirmation and it’s a sideways move, no new confirmation required.

That’s true and he has done that a couple of times with good success. The problem is backfilling the positions he’s “robbed.” I fault the GOPE Senators lead by Scrotum Neck McConnell. They have the votes, and they have the ability to change the rules, but they don’t, and the clock is running.
