They are anticipating the attack to take place from the Med.
Moving ships out to sea to take up battle formations in preparation for strikes on the NATO ships involved, as they said they would.
Look closely at 1:58. You can see the shadow of the camera as the bomb drops.
Bullcrap. Russian navy in no shape to take on NATO. They go everywhere with a tug for the inevitable failures.
That was when Yeltsin was president. Not the case today.
Soooo,
The Russian military learned a lesson from our getting our asses handed to ourselves at Pearl Harbor?
You forget that during the Obama years, the Soviets, oops, I mean the Russians have done nothing but beef up their offensive and defensive capabilities using Syria as a test bed for all their systems. They’ve improved, gotten battle experience while Obama denuded the US military. Who’s ready for an attack?
Was Yeltsin president in 2016?

Russian aircraft carrier towed in Mediterranian
Russia’s only carrier presumably failed to reach the Syrian shores on her own.
That story is utter BS. My info on the status of the Russian Navy foes not come from the news but from the real world.
You got it right.
Russian navy is a joke - always has been.
They know that finally a man in the WH means business. Russia cannot take on NATO.
Maybe they want to play a game of MAD though?
You read the Western propaganda Kool Aid too much. Current intel and some stories from defense institutes paint a MUCH DIFFERENT PICTURE.
And intel/defense institutes don’t have an agenda to increase military spending because of their views of the Russian bogeyman?
Prove it - otherwise. You’re just another basement dwelling child getting his pants wet.
Go read your email DH.
As I just said on another thread.
Trump boasted what he was definitely going to do, but did not go ahead and do, and meanwhile Russia, Assad and Iran are preparing, and chuckling “Thanks Trump for the heads up”.
Mattis is watching all of this unfold and receiving updates on movement. Its making both Russia and Syria squirm, which is good.
