A HEAVY flight of US-led coalition warplanes have reportedly been seen flying over the Iraqi border as a nerve gas counter attack looms.
Flight data shows planes being diverted from Syrian airspace as a 48 hour clearance was reportedly ordered by the US military

First of all Mattis didn’t say that at all. Yesterday afternoon, he said they were still looking at intelligence.
This morning State and DOD are saying Syria and Russia involved with gas attacks.
Things change.
Pool cleaners?
Trump should make the sniveling cowards in Congress declare war. A real war as in to the victor go the spoils. That is what the Constitution requires.
We are the world leader and have an obligation to punish war crimes
We are? Who says? China? Russia? NK?
Not a chance. Putin is a pragmatist: There is no up side for him to retaliate in that manner, or start firing off nukes, and we have no need to do so if he does not.
Now, will the Russians try to shoot down incoming missiles? Quite possibly, yes. They may have limited, but only limited, success.
Very often, in the course of a street brawl that started over nothing, one or more of the participants end up dead. Putin said he’d retaliate. As a pragmatist, he knows that if he does not retaliate to a strike, he will lose his creds with the Arabs. If Trump doesn’t strike, he loses his creds with everybody. But neither of them want to blow up the world, especially not by accident in a stupid brawl.
So, the best outcome would be for Putin to say he did an extensive investigation, and discovered that this dumbass, Ahmad ibn Kulub Abu Khatoul and his co-conspirator Igor Sonabitchovicz were the ones who launched a gas attack on the village, it was unauthorized and illegal, and we turn them over to the ICC for prosecu—oops. An angry mob just ripped them apart. Matter resolved. Trump stands down, Putin stands down, and nobody loses any creds with anybody.
I’ll bet they’ve already planned something like this in advance.
You’re right.
Very interesting!
Actually I’m not sure. Another poster debunked it on-might have been Q thread. It made sense to me.
Also, I wonder if POTUS will work a deal with Putin for taking down Soros who has done much damage to Russia. You know how Trump talked about the “smart” bombs coming soon?
Recall the many times he said in his speeches you never telegraph your moves if you want to win the war. There are little clues like that everywhere and Putin even made noise about “fake news” just like POTUS does.
Remember the big purge of the Saudis and POTUS meeting with the “good” Prince?
I wondered if they made a deal.
I read that POTUS was meeting with ME heads of state to set up some kind of terrorist fighting alliance and actually had some kind of leverage.
I’m just speculating here. It’s a wild ride, ain’t it?
In a counterforce strike, the Russians would attempt to hit the land based missiles, our subs, bomber fields etc. Would they hit DC in the first salvo? If they are trying to decapitate the leadership and destroy our command and control, then yeah DC would get nailed, as would our FEMA continuity of government shelters that the Russians are well aware of I’m sure.
My point is, once you get a tactical exchange going, how do you stop it from being escalated into a regional or international strategic exchange? You don’t. Anyone arguing that a tactical release is not a bad idea is one of these war hungry neocons that think a nuclear war is somehow survivable
We live in interesting times.
I just heard on OANN, that Macron in France is claiming he has proof that Assad used chemical weapons on Syrian people. I don’t truth that weasel as he is friends with Obama.
Trump should demand to see that proof with his military people, who are trustworthy and NOT Deep State. There is map of a oil/gas pipeline going right thru Syria that some say is reason for this warmongering, to get Assad out of way! I don’t know, but it looks like it on the map. I posted it on my Twitter page.
I do not know how to post a pic on FR.
