Russia Vetoes U.S. Bid for Probe That Would Lay Blame for Syria Chemical Attacks

Guess now we know who is full of bullshit. Was there ever any doubt?

I guess Russia doesn’t like a Robert Mueller type investigation that starts with and ends with the presumption of guilt being on Assad and the Syrian government using jihadist videos as “evidence”.

A team from the Organization for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons is deploying to Syria to conduct an investigation at the request of Syria and Russia.

A real investigation, not a Mueller investigation.

It’s important to know the content of the US resolution, and Russia’s stated reason for Veto.

We know the OPCW is already on their way to Syria at Russia’s request.

well, you know, Puttie send in ‘Russian medics’ to the hospital who didn’t find any chemical casualties. So obviously it didn’t happen and no one died. No word if they looked beyond the maternity ward.

Unless I misunderstand, the Trump administration is admitting that the USA government cannot prove with certainty who is responsible for the alleged chemical attack?

I don’t get it.

Yesterday, Trump was on national TV talking about a military strike on Assad’s forces because Assad is responsible.

Mr. President, if you have verifiable evidence, release it to the public.

If you don’t have verifiable evidence, it’s time to apologize and shut up.

That deep rumble you may hear in the background is NOT thunder.  It is the sound of WAR DRUMS in Washington!
Perhaps the most pregnant question Tucker asks is this: While it’s possible, if Assad has all but WON the struggle to remain in power, WHY would he do something as STUPID as launch a gas attack killing women and children that would surely anger much of the civilized world?
And at the 7:00 mark, he puts a slammer on his courageous, excellent and possibly LAST commentary on FOX!
Like the Lusitania, Pearl Harbor, the Gulf of Tonkin and, yes, 9-11 and others, can you say a Military-Industrial Complex orchestrated FALSE FLAG”?
I wonder how many CIA “Spooks” are over there? Recent events RIGHT HERE tell anyone who can fog a mirror just how TRUSTWORTHY THEY ARE!
And do an Internet search for “General Smedley Butler”!
PS:  I was in the USAF as Vietnam was cranking up.  A wry semi-humorous phrase made the rounds among some of my fellow instructors (several of whom came back from there in aluminum boxes): “War is good business.  INVEST YOUR SONS!”
We did. 58,220 dead and 304,000 wounded!
And, aside from enriching the M-I Complex, what was accomplished?

“Shamanov emphasized that a retaliatory Russian strike could target U.S. navy ships and aircraft. He added that the use of nuclear weapons is “unlikely.””

Matches my understanding. They’ve leap-frogged us in most areas (jamming our drones was just disclosed this morning), so there’s no need to rely on nukes, at least from their viewpoint.

The sad thing is that China will see what has become of our military and will become MUCH MORE AGGRESSIVE in their part of the world.

...and all that simply to please the Neocons.
