And that’s the problem. It’s not made of putty, but they think it is.

Baking the cake is a perfect example. The constitution protects the baker’s right to choose to not bake a cake. It does not protect anyone’s right to not be discriminated against by any other person and for any reason whatsoever. Maybe the government can’t discriminate, but individuals have the God given right actually protected right there in the first amendment.

And the extra comical part is that the effort to allow same sex marriage was, at its core, the SCOTUS being used to redefine the meaning of a word. That’s stupid no matter who you are.
