McGruff, I am going to play the “I lived in Russia” card here to say...for years now anti-American rhetoric and propaganda has been dominating and shaping their media and public discourse — to grotesquely absurd circus levels. You have to remember that Putin owns ALL the media in his country. You have to know that under Putin, Stalin’s popularity is at an all-time high. Hence why the Culture Ministry banned the British film “Death of Stalin” from public release.

So it is a bit ridiculous (and as usual with Russia, pure psychological projection) that the Kremlin rep in the UN is accusing USA of Cold War rhetoric when:

A) Our country as a whole is asleep by comparison. Most avg Americans have other concerns and do not want Cold War part II. (Russians on the other hand want a go at avenging the collapse of the USSR.)

B) American Deep State is at war with Trump, not Russia thereby doing Russia’s bidding.

C) You and dozens of other Free Republic participants are so ready to jump on the Kremlin narrative bandwagon.

Clean repeal of ObamaCare, meaningful enforcement of immigration laws (including punishing politicians/employers who hire and protect them), getting out of endless and expensive wars (as Trump campaigned on), holding people accountable for their high crimes and misdemeanors (Hillary, Huma, Lois, Loretta, et al). THAT is what would provide a landslide victory of historical proportions in the coming mid terms.

This may come as a surprise to you, but fiddling while Rome burns doesn’t sit well with a lot of people.
