could mueller or the US atty’s go after Trump for this statement, if they find evidence of any emails going from Trump’s atty to Trump regarding this payment?

This is war - and they’re not even bothering to disguise what they’re doing anymore. Trump needs to actually wake up, get pro-active and start firing people. This “investigation” over a non-crime has gone on about 15 months too long.
Yep they are not retreating. And I have no doubt that Ryan and others just can’t wait to stick up their hands in a vote of impeachment.
