Trump's biggest error was selecting Sessions as Attorney General. Giuliani or Christie would have been better choices. Ideally, Sheriff Clarke or Sheriff Arpaio would be the best choices, but they would never have been approved.

Just stop it! Stop blaming President Trump. Sessions has been a darling of conservatives for years and his appointment as AG was widely applauded among conservatives. None of us, least of all Trump, could have known what a weasel Sessions is. Like so many politicians, he kept this side of himself hidden.

>>Trump’s biggest error was selecting Sessions as Attorney General.<<

Which I and numerous others on this forum have been saying ever since the little butt wiper recused himself. But hey, be prepared for the Sessions cheerleader caucus to call you bad names for stating the obvious.

Giuliani wouldn’t accept AG — he wanted Secretary of State or nothing, so he got nothing.

Christie??? He could have proved to be a shifty and dangerous AG. I’m not at all confident that he would have been the right guy.

As you say, Clarke and Arpaio never would have been confirmed.

It’s tough to say who, then or now, would be a good enough AG. Most of the legal types with enough requisite “experience” are strongly implicated in the Uniparty and Deep State b.s.

POTUS Trump needs to comb the Federalist Society membership, maybe including the types who are mentioned as possible Supreme Court nominees. There has got to be someone a lot more suitable than Sessions or Rosenweasel, if it’s not already too late.

True.

Trump was dumb to nominate Jeff Sessions.

Sessions should have been Defense Secy, or White House Chief of Staff.

NOT AG

Christie, Giuliani, Pirro, or Kallstrom would have been better choices.
