Yes, at first glance the title of this piece appears to be provocative (indeed, some probably stopped there and refused to continue reading). However, it is provocative only under two conditions. First, it is provocative when viewed within the frame of reference to which weve become conditioned that is, that Progressivism and religion are examined as totally separate and distinct topics, a conceptual version of the so-called separation of church and state if you will. Second, it is provocative if this writer had deliberately crafted it just to get a reaction.....

The ultimate goal is control. Utopia is deception, Satan’s forte.
A worry: Are all those leftist women who have regular sessions casting spells and curses against President Trump getting somewhere?
In the Bible it states to avoid soothsayers, diviners, entrail readers, and those who put faith in spells and pagan systems in place of faith in God.(about today, please search “witches cast spells against Trump”).
Moses and others had to fight against these types in Egypt, not because they were ineffective but they were evil and had to be overpowered by faith in our true God. Most of us know Satan works around the clock to promote temptation to evil actions.
Is our faith in God winning only 51-49 per cent now? I pray President Trump and others will continue to defeat these evil ones.
I have wondered about that for years.
I think I can speak to this because I have lived in Chicago for all my adult life. And here is the birth of Obama progressivism. Before Obama it was merely Chicago Progressivism. The Nation of Islam and Christian “baptist” preachers both practiced it. Progressivism, is not so much anti-christian as it is almost every thing we on Freerepublic.com hate.
The concept is that society can be made better and fairer by allowing the elite to require changes of society that the ignorant people follow, like quotas, and big intrusive government. Progressives believe that if a city is 40% black then the government and every company, school, or board, should be 40% black. Schools should be 40% black in their pupils, their board, and their teachers and their vendors. And those with more money should pay for those with less.
Its socialism. But its socialism with the concept that there are segments of the population that require forced participation. And an elite class makes deals with unions and government officials and big business to run the place in a way that every group of people get their share. And groups are determined as black and white and Hispanic and Asian. Or gay, and straight or women and men. The only group that is really not allowed to have a spot at the table is white christian straight males. This group is assumed to be the favoured group that needs no support. Unless they work for the government or a union.
Well its definitely evil.
If you are a Christian then you accept the world-view that there are two great powers battling on this plane of existence for the souls of those being tested. It stands to reason therefore that in the end, there is no middle ground, you are striving to reach and stay in God’s camp or you are in Satan’s camp.
There are those who are drifting aimlessly but I fear they will invariably end up on Satan’s camp, since effort, and discipline, and active self-sacrificial love are required to get to, and stay in God’s camp.
Progressivism is definitely Satan’s ideology, it must be vigorously opposed. The tough part is loving those espousing this Satanic world-view and actively trying to save them from themselves while simultaneously trying to protect ourselves from them. When God said “love thy enemy” he was talking about them.
God didn’t make this easy, but consider the reward.
Utopia is a lie. Satan is the king of lies.
There are only two kingdoms. The kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness. And you cant be neutral.
Is Jesuistry Marxist?
"Progressive" is a term adopted by "Liberals" after that euphemism came to be perceived as a pejorative term.
Leftists/Liberals/Progressives are continually changing their nomenclature in an attempt to hide their real goals.
Atheists have also recently re-branded themselves:
The ethics and actions of a bright are based on a naturalistic worldview or humanism. As a consequence "The Brights Movement" is naturally open to anyone who has a rationalistic or naturalistic worldview. It is essentially an attempted re-branding of atheism, with a silly and somewhat embarrassing name ...
Problem is there are plenty of Christians that embrace progressivism. You will notice though, in direct opposition to Christ’s command to care earnestly for your Christian brother, they spend a lot of internet space denouncing and trashing other fellow, “right wing”, Christians.
There is also many, who, and I can attest to this, because I know these people is the hyper liberal city I live in, are faithful Christians who are just ignorant, willfully or otherwise about what is really said in the Bible.
I think we saw this in the 60s with the Christian embrace of Pacifism. Like it or not, Christians sometimes are just as formed and influenced by their surroundings, as the secular. So San Francisco produces plenty of progressive Christians.
It takes a certain mental adjustment of course. I don’t know how many times I hear, as a support for communism, “sell all you have and give to the poor”. Next time someone says that I am going to say “You first”.
That venom Hillary spits at the Deplorables comes from somewhere very dark. In fact, look at the hatred of the Left for conservatives, Christians, and Israel.
That isn't a product of utopian dreams.
Hmm. Progressivism is based on lies, big lies and huge lies. Continuously repeated. Satan is The Great Deceiver. Hmm.
Yes, and I have personally seen a bear shit in the woods.
Interesting article. Yes, Progressivism, like Islam, is an instrument of Satan. It is against the Christian God in its very nature and the tents it promotes. It is in the spirit of the anti-Christ.
Of course.
