Perhaps these popular rifle building events will spread.

“No one at the VFW post or Chris buckled under to the bullying of the protesters.“

It’s a pity the attendees didn’t beat the living snot out of these “protesters”.

Is this what you can learn how to build?

But they were thinking about it.

It’s not even building. ARs are assembled like Lego blocks.

Sure, I suppose, but the class is probably more about what really works and what doesn’t, what’s worthwhile and what isn’t.

Every able-bodied American capable of bearing arms should know how to assemble an AR-15 it is so simple

I think its kinda dunb, build your own from what? Parts from Home Depot?.
Either make everything available copied from current military rifles or just a class on how to make a gun from plumbing hardware.

Because little by little you won’t be able to buy any part, plans or even tooling.

Yes, we do this at home and I’d like to get the boys to an event like this. They want black powder and I’ve promised them kits in 2-3 years. Still remember making mine back in junior high or high school—a 50 cal. Thompson Renegade.

I love build classes. I’ve run an AK build class for 5 years. We just tease the AR guys about the Lego building. A rifleman should know how every part on their rifle works. These types of classes help that knowledge.

That is what needs to be taught, how to make a rifle from dam near the most primitive of parts available, this is even after ammo, scopes, primers, milling instructions are made out to be illegal.

Go right back to making Brown Bess muskets.

There is nothing “after” arms are made “illegal”.
