Bingo. But I’m sure the pro-war faction will find some Congressional resolution somewhere that will give them the “authorization” to escalate the situation.
Conservatives are by nature strict constitutionalists. It’s sad that so many of them aren’t bothered by these mini-wars.
Anyway, suppose Trump does strike, and manages to remove Assad. What comes next? Oh, wait. No need to ask that question. Just look at Libya after Gaddafi. It’s a paradise, I tell ya.
