my mom always told the story of the KofC men going up to where some KKK types were burning a cross on top of Polish Hill in Binghamton NY decades ago and beat the crap out of them....my mother never lied...
it would be wonderful to be part of a church where the men took a very active role as leaders and protectors...
I KNOW that in a couple evangelical churches in CNY there are men in the congregation who carry and have concealed carry permits.
In the one church I know who one is and suspect who the others are.
In the other church, I’m not sure but do know that some LEO’s attend there and would expect them to be carrying although I personally don’t know who they are.
But when you see the sheriff’s car parked out in the lot during worship services, you know you’re safer.
