For over a hundred years, socialists have been using violence to force their sick notions of society into reality. For over one hundred years, they have been portraying themselves as caring and compassionate. I wonder why people keep falling for their lies? What psychological mechanism is going on here that blinds people to the fact that thugs and tyrants *cannot* be the kind benefactors of humanity that they claim?
This is an ongoing puzzle. Over a hundred years, on average one million people killed per year, not to mention the many more millions killed in the womb, and countless others imprisoned and tortured in the name of socialism, yet millions still support it. Why?
Leftists have killed every US President..?
The vast majority of serious crime overall is NOT done by “right wingers”
Just another depressing reminder of the "Obama legacy." Most legitimate leaders see as their goal to uplift a nation and its people.
Obama's actions served to demoralize a nation......his legacy is one of marginalizing law-abiding, go-getter Americans.
Obama triggered the rise of misfits, miscreants, ne're-do-wells, and misanthropes, and enabled them to hold sway over American culture.
The detrimental results of his presidency speak to Obama's hatred for superpower America.
On Star Trek the Next Generation there was a McKinley space station where the Enterprise went for repairs.
One of Dan’s best essays ever!
Thanks, Louis!
Mr. Greenfield makes excellent points regarding the culture wars.
While I disagree with Obama’s actions, like most Alaskans, I have long supported the effort to rename our tallest peak Mount Denali, which was what Alaska Natives called it long before any white man ever set eyes on it. Attempts by the Alaska congressional delegation to rename the mountain Mt Denali were always stymied by the Ohio congressional delegation. Thankfully, President Trump has stated he has no plans to reverse Obama’s action. Basically, Obama helped a Republican-leaning, Trump supporting state achieve a long sought after goal, although that surely wasn’t his intent.
The only disagreement I have is that many have stood against removing confederate monuments. They were the first targeted. The others will be too and already are. Just as open borders is another communist push to being down America. Which both parties have supported.
I stopped calling these communists liberals a long time ago.
What’s next, Humboldt County changing the name of McKinleyville?
It is convinced that if it can rewrite history, it will write the future.
It does this, as everything else, through lies, special pleading, hysterical outrage, self-righteous threats and finally the inevitable violence.
And if they get their way, they will bully us, enslave us, kill us and finally erase us from history.
One of Daniel Greenfield's best of the best - and that's saying a lot considering so much of his writings are amazing...
