He’s mocking the left while taking a subtle swipe at the judiciary reminding them that this was never a law or a product of a law. Remember this happening well after the Court appeal ordering the POTUS to not stop DACA.

3 Governors sue the administration.
Eric Holder sues the administration.
Clapper goes on CNN to tell the world how Trump should be in jail.
Juan Williams says “he has no authority”
“Vegetable McCain” releases a statement through his “staff”
Linda Graham says this is “unprecedented”
Michelle Obama compares this to “giving your kids junk food”
I hope I covered the news cycle for the weekend...

The title is a kind of misleading since Catch and release has not been ended yet. It will be 2 months at the minimum and that is if there is no interference from the political activist judges. And I would not count on that not happening.
