I really really really really liked “The Founder.” I’ll go to a Clint Eastwood movie any time. The theaters here have the lazy boy reclining seats that are great. Dinner before hand, and a show is still great. Plus, you get a senior discount, no?

We should have a Free Republic theater ping that tells us which ones to watch.

Chappaquiddick is worth seeing.

"The Founder" was an excellent movie. I think it is on Netflix now or had been for a time. There is an out of print book "Behind The Arches" by John Love that tells the story even better.

Lot of good movies out there. I don't care what the other Freepers say. Boycotting Hollywood completely is stupid. Support the good movies while shunning the bad movies and good movies will continue to be made.

I plan to see the Chappaquiddick film but I've read several books about it over the years. Books are almost always better than the movie but the movie is often worth seeing as well. Case in point, one of my favorite books is "The Right Stuff" by Tom Wolfe. The 1984 movie is definitely worth seeing even though the book told a much richer story of the first astronauts. I think I've seen "The Right Stuff" at least a half dozen times over the years.
