I'm not sure what the point of denying reality is; what's your angle? Dissatisfaction? Envy? Resentment? I've always thought one of the core hallmarks of being ostensibly conservative is the ability to rationally deal with facts. Blind, obstinate denial is an attribute of emotional proglibs.
